Join our team

We are a small, friendly team committed to restoring nature in West Oxfordshire's historic Wychwood area. Please keep an eye on this page for opportunities to join us.

Communications and Development Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compelling communicator to coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Wychwood Forest Trust’s external communication with members, partners, the public and other stakeholders. You will help us develop positive interactions with people through traditional and digital media, our identity, and a considered programme of public engagement events. You will also be keen to help us to develop and grow as an organisation by contributing to fundraising strategies and grant funding applications.

The successful applicant will have the organisational and technical skills we require, but also an interest in environmental issues and the enthusiasm to help us make the case for a wilder Wychwood Forest. This is an interesting time to be joining the Wychwood Forest Trust as we take on new sites and plan to grow our impact with new and progressive habitat restoration projects. You will play a key role within a small but expert team, and have every opportunity to make a valuable contribution to and gain experience of environmental repair in West Oxfordshire.

This is an expanded role for the organisation offered for one year in the first instance, with a clear target to develop the future of the position. If you think you have the abilities and enthusiasm that we need, then please send us a CV and a covering letter explaining why to info@wychwoodforesttrust.co.uk

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 8th December at 10am. Interviews will be held in the week commencing 13th December

Please see the full job description here.

If you have any questions, please email info@wychwoodforesttrust.co.uk
