Learn the rural craft of hedgelaying with an experienced local hedgelayer at Foxburrow Wood, Witney. No experience necessary, all tools and equipment will be provided. Tuition will include: tool use, preparing the hedge, laying, staking and binding.
Please bring gloves (if you have them), stout boots and suitable clothes. Hot drinks will be provided but please provide your own lunch.

During the day you will learn in a small group how to prepare and lay a hedge, along with tool use, staking and binding.
Please bring gloves if you have them, stout boots and suitable clothes. Hot drinks will be provided but bring your own lunch.

Winter Tree Identification
Saturday 27 November
1–3pm
Singe Wood
£10 (children free)
Brush up on your winter tree identification with an expert in this two-hour beginner's course at Singe Wood. No experience needed. You'll learn to identify common local trees by their bark, buds, shape and other features in this interactive session.
Booking is essential. We cannot accommodate dogs on this course. Children are welcome to accompany their responsible adult.
